Sales Manager

Pure Air Control Services a world leader in Indoor Air Quality Consulting has an immediate opening for the position of Sales Manager. Our Corporate Office is located in Clearwater, Florida. We have performed over 10,000 studies in over 500 million square feet of building environments over the past 20 years. Our laboratory has the experience of analyzing more than 75,000 environmental assays over the past 13-years. These samples include Aerobiology, Microbiology, Microscopy, Allergen screen, SPM and others environmental parameters.

Our staff includes backgrounds in industrial hygiene, building sciences, microbiology, allergy/immunology, mechanical engineering and chemistry. Clients we serve include: homeowners, federal, state and local governments, private and public sector, insurance companies, law firms, educational facilities (K-12), colleges and universities, and the healthcare industry.

The Prospective candidate must posess a University Diploma preferably in a relevant branch of science and have sales management experience. The candidate must posses exceptional communication and organizational skills. This position reports directly to the the President/C.E.O. Sales Manager Responsibilities

  • Direct and coordinate activities involving sales of products, services and other subjects of sale.

  • Review operational records and reports to project sales and determine profitability.

  • Confer or consult with department heads to plan advertising services
  • Prepare budgets and approve budget expenditures.

  • Represent company at trade association meetings to promote products and services.

  • Plan and direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and service programs.

  • Confer with potential customers regarding IEQ needs. Oversee regional sales people and sales managers and their staffs.

  • Set goals for market share and growth

  • Assist with new-product development.

  • Undertake marketing audits to monitor sales performance.

  • Cooperate with professionals, such as technical experts, production managers, media representatives and advertising agents.

Laboratory Techs:

Microbiologist/ Mycologist /Aerobiologist


Responsibilities include:

  • Assist with day-to-day laboratory operations.
  • Perform Lab assays in Microbiology, Immunochemistry & Microscopy:
  • Preparation of bioaerosol and microbial samples for fungal analysis.
  • Culture of fungi from environmental samples using sterile techniques.
  • Bio-aerosol and microbial analysis of samples for fungi and bacteria.
  • Preparation of sample media.
  • Maintenance of laboratory supplies, equipment and laboratory reagents


Qualifications:

Degree in a life science required, with a degree in Microbiology preferred. One to two years of experience in mycology preferred.  Competent in the identification of aerobiota. Computer knowledge required. Each employee is required to be knowledgeable, thorough, independent, and efficient in his/her duties while working in a team-based environment.

Industrial Hygienist

SUMMARY:
Primary duty will be to serve as a field industrial hygienist for indoor environmental investigations including air quality (IAQ) investigations and assessment of biological agents. Must have experience in designing, conducting, and supervising mold assessments. Support senior-level personnel in the areas of project planning and industrial hygiene, as necessary.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act as a primary investigator for IAQ microbiological investigations.
  • Collect non-viable bioaerosol samples in accordance with standard protocols and document sample integrities with chain of custodies
  • Measure common IAQ parameters.
  • Prepare field reports (e.g., investigation summaries) summarizing analytical results and generate appropriate documentation in accordance with client-specific requirements.
  • Participate in regular project meetings with corporate staff.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Two to five years of experience required in the IAQ and microbiological assessment field. Comprehension of applicable Federal, State, and local regulations, as well as guidelines and methodologies promulgated from authorities such as the American Industrial Hygiene Association, American Council of Governmental Industrial Hygienists, and the American Society for Testing and Materials required. Must possess certifications applicable and necessary to perform IAQ services in the states of Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and/or Alabama.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge of IBM-compatible computers and basic software applications required. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents, such as environmental regulations and laws, operating and maintenance instructions, and user and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with coworkers and internal clients.

REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Must be able to pass fit check and don a respirator for extended periods. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities by this job include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university in Industrial Hygiene, Biology/Chemistry/Environmental Sciences or Related Sciences or 2 year Associate's Degree in sciences with certifications from recognized programs e.g. CIE, CIAQP, etc.

HVAC/Building IEQ Remediation Supervisors & Technicians

HVAC system cleaning and microbial remediation, experience preferred, but not necessary.

Qualified candidates will have the following:

  • 2 - 5 years of IEQ or HVAC experience preferred but not required (residential or commercial)
  • High School Diploma
  • Valid Driver's License and a good driving record
  • Ability to pass Drug Test and Background Check
  • Good personal skills in addition to strong technical expertise

Marketing Coordinator/Account Manager

Marketing Coordinator will promote Pure Air Control Services’ sales of products and services, including the marketing of existing products, developing new products to cater for consumer demand, and developing markets for new products or services.

Marketing Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Identify and analyze Pure Air Control Services’ strengths and weaknesses, and respond to opportunities and threats in the marketing environment
  • Meet goals for market share and growth
  • Implement appropriate strategies by selecting, segmenting and targeting markets, and promoting products and services to those markets
  • Make decisions regarding products such as labeling or packaging
  • Undertake new-product development
  • Manage distribution channels such as Independent Sales Representatives
  • Make decisions regarding the distribution of products (such as taking of orders).
  • Assist in the development plans in relation to advertising, sales promotion, public relations, personal selling and sales management.
  • Work with, and gain the cooperation of, people in specialist areas such as technical experts, production managers, media representatives and advertising agents
  • Perform a variety of duties, including areas of specialization:
    • Advertising Management assist in the development of Pure Air Control Services’ advertising strategy.
    • Product Management market Pure Air Control Services’ major products. Maintain and direct the product's image in the market, decide which new products meet market trends and those that need to be phased out.
    • Electronic Commerce Management coordinate and develop the marketing activities of Pure Air Control Services over the internet, email and other electronic mediums, including online promotion, sales and communication.
    • Customer Service Management provides sales support by fielding enquiries, taking orders and providing phone advice to customers. Also assist with exhibitions; prepare documentation for brochures and sales kits, and commission market research suppliers for primary data.
    • Sales Management plans and coordinate sales activities, provide marketing communications, direct marketing and telemarketing.

The Marketing Coordinator will have to work in the evenings and/or on weekends, and will be required to travel for business.
